I was working on a project for a few days with no issues at all. Today I turned on motion blur for all the layers and AE crashed. Now I can't open the project or any of the auto saves! Other projects open just fine. The plugins being used were Invig Pro 6.0.0, Generate-Fill and the scribble effect. I'm on a 2008ish Mac Pro with 10.6.8. Here is the crash log in case anyone can read it. Glad you're back up and running. If something similar happens in the future, I usually recommend opening the project with Caps Lock on to suppress rendering. I've found some of the GPU-based plugins can be a bit dodgy on the Mac, and sometimes crash immediately upon load. Deferring rendering with Caps Lock on for even a couple seconds seems to avoid that crash sometimes. Suppressing rendering until after the project is open and you can see where the CTI is can also help you track down the problem.
